Short description:

Because of mismatches – mainly structural –  Polish labour market research forecasting labour demand according to professions acquired substantial significance in effective functioning of the  market and the effectiveness of actions taken within the framework of active labour market policy. Their basic advantage should be advanced information on forecasted directions of changes in the structure of employee demand for all the stakeholders on the labour market. The training indicates main directions of the use of labour forecasting model designed for current coordination of trainings for the unemployed and directions of vocational training with labour market needs.

Implementation of the results of training will be effective if labour offices fully recognise qualifications and skills of the unemployed. Moreover, the application of local strategic documents enabling the identification of employee demand for over a year is also recommended.
