The Microidea is an Erasmus + project, which aims to develop an innovative micro-credential system aligned with ISO 17024. Tested in five European countries, it seeks to improve education, training, and policy effectiveness. Its outcomes will be transferable across sectors, audiences, and demographic groups. A pilot in the tourism sector will demonstrate how micro-credentials can be directly connected to labor market needs.
Microidea aims to:
develop a micro-credential system aligned with ISO 17024;
create a methodology linking national and international certification;
design an open-access tool for skills needs analysis;
pilot the system in the tourism sector;
and ensure long-term impact through broad dissemination and integration into EU policies.
